Wedding, check!

Laurie and Jason's wedding went off without a hitch! I felt so blessed to be a witness to their special union. They wanted a simple, tasteful, outdoor Michigan summer wedding and it was perfect. The bride wore an understated, elegant tea-length and the groom was in black dress pants and a red button-up shirt. The decor was shasta daisies in Bell jars and white linens throughout. I hope the happy couple have a relaxing and refreshing honeymoon to the UP. Congrats again!

Hudson & Koen 9 mos

Big thanks go out to Jan and Bob for letting us use their breathtaking landscaping project as a background for the twins' 9 month photo shoot. It sure makes my job easy when surrounded by such beauty!

Piotrowski's 7 month photo shoot

The Piotrowski boys are back! Hudson and Koen have grown so much since their newborn session and their personalities are really beginning to take form. Koen seems to be a little tougher and rougher, and Hudson is more loving and sensitive. He was wearing a few battle scars from a go-round with his older brother during this shoot!

The UP

We were fortunate enough to have two very willing subjects to shoot while we vacationed in the U.P. a few years back! Of course, when you are shooting your own children you never know what you are going to get, but the atmosphere and beauty of the U.P. is unmatched and makes for gorgeous photos. Brevin was in a wedding in St. Ignace right on the beach of Lake Michigan overlooking the Mackinaw Bridge. It was literally breathtaking and he even cooperated in his little tux. Later we traveled further north to Marquette and spent an afternoon playing in the water of Lake Superior. The colors of the rocks spilling through the clear water was just amazing and I couldn't miss the opportunity to pull it into this portrait of Laney. She was so amazed with the little things that I had to capture it on film.

Easter is always a fun holiday for kids, and even more so when we have nice weather in Michigan! We were able to shoot the Piotrowski and Cassady cousins on this beautiful spring afternoon.

Hudson & Koen

Hudson and Koen definitely gave me a run for my money on their first ever photo shoot! At only two months old, the boys were still on apnea monitors so we had to pull and shoot quickly! The results turned out great though and we were able to capture a few shots where their little personalities shone through! Thanks Piotrowski boys!

cassady photography is up and running!

It's been a long time coming, but cassady photography is finally up and running!

My portfolio is slowly expanding and I even have my first wedding shoot June 19th! I'm so excited to begin this new chapter in my life and can't believe I have the opportunity to do something I love for a living.
